Organize fishing for children
Tear off the backside of the couch and … finally take the children fishing! It’s easy for you, and the kids have so much joy!
The first fishing trip for a child is an unforgettable adventure for life! What will she be like? Nervous, full of paternal irritation and intolerance? Or, on the contrary, will it reveal to the children’s eyes the wonderful world of the surrounding nature and its inhabitants? And will it take place at all? It all depends on you, dear parents.
Unlucky children of the XXI century. The Internet stole their childhood, took away the joy of lively communication with friends and nature. Many of them will never know what street games are, potatoes baked in a bonfire, swimming in the river, fishing …
Dear parents, hear me! Buying tablets and phones for 5-year-old crumbs, you commit a crime against childhood. They don’t need these electronic vampires at this age. They are already lured with them through life. Children need your attention. Your real, interested participation is needed. They want to play football, badminton with you, go hiking, go fishing – are there any interesting activities in the world? And you dismiss them, planting them on the Internet – a ruthless killer of time and health. I myself have three daughters. I know what I am saying.
Of course, this is convenient: he gave the child a tablet and forgot about it – his hands are untied for business (or idleness). But is it possible to be so selfish and not to love your children so much? Childhood is a moment, it will remain in the memory of your baby, it depends only on you. Are you tired? Once? Tomorrow? Give up. Tear your ass off the couch right now and … finally take the kids fishing!
What is fishing for a child
This is the whole world. A new world full of interesting discoveries and enthusiasm. I remember the first time I took my daughter fishing. While I was engaged in a boat, she gathered a bunch of dandelions, met frogs on the shore, saw a snake basking in the sun, scurrying a duck-coot with a brood near a reed.
And then the boat slipped along the surface of the river. You should have seen the face of a baby: it shone with happiness. In shallow water, we met a small turtle with bright patterns on the shell. I easily caught her. I won’t even tell you what it means for a girl to hold a living turtle in her hands! She wanted to take the reptile home. I had to be smart to let the animal go to its native element.
And I also showed her a pond, a swimming beetle, a water spider, a reed – not fishing came out, but a lesson in zoology. There were many questions, I answered them steadily.
The first fish caught for a child – event
That day I took a spinning rod and a children’s fishing rod with me – a lightweight 4-meter telescopic rod without rings. While sailing, I noticed the place where the reeds were fattening trifles. There he fixed the boat. He threw sunflower oil cake in the water – the water “boiled” from the fish. I set up a fishing rod for the little princess, put a maggot on a hook, cast it and handed the tackle into her hands.
The float immediately danced frantically. Little daughter pulled a rudd – a beautiful fish, cast in gold, with bright red fins. Then another one. And further. I only had time to unhook the fish, adjust the nozzle and throw the tackle. She hooked over and over again. Immediately at my prompts, and then myself. There was joy – not to convey!
In an hour we caught fifty rudd. On the way back I gave up spinning several times. I didn’t count on the catch, I threw it for the sake of sports interest. I got a 300-gram squint. Although not large, but handsome: he himself is dark, and the sides are in bright spots of olive color. I took a picture of my daughter with a toothy trophy, after which she released him.
In total, we spent 3 hours on the river. Despite my concerns, the fishing girl was calm, not naughty, and did not ask to go home. She really enjoyed fishing. Excited cats met us at home: a whole pack. Even the neighbor’s ragged cat Vaska came running to fish. We fed them with small rudd, and large – fried and eaten at dinner. It was delicious. What could be tastier than a fish caught personally?
Dear Dad! If you still think that children’s fishing is tattered nerves and a spoiled mood, I dare to reassure you – this is not so. It happens differently. It all depends on you. Do not be selfish, take children to the river, instill in them a love of nature from an early age. Sow their souls with seeds of goodness and warmth – get attention and a mug of water in old age.
