Fishing line requirements
The line requirements are also different. For a river with its strong course, braided fishing line that does not have elasticity and cuts water well is best suited. In addition, it allows you to better determine the bite. Monofilament fishing line, stretching along the stream in an arc, just may not show touch and even jerking fish, especially with long casting. On the ponds, you can put both monophilic fishing line and braid.
The shape of the feeder is also important when fishing on the stream. Usually, rectangular or triangular-shaped feeding troughs are used here, so that their discharge along the bottom in a strong current is less. Before fishing with a filled feeder, a test cast with an empty feeder should be done to determine its ability to stay on the bottom without feeding. Otherwise, after it is washed, it will be thrown down by the force of the current. To make the feeders heavier, you can put an additional load inside the feeder or fix a heavy plate on the bottom. At ponds, feeding troughs of the type method or flat were widely used. The design of the Method, Flat feeders allows for long-distance accurate casting due to compactness and weight, while the bait is laid taking into account the still water – freely, like on a spoon for thick-breasted gourmet crucians. In addition, these feeders do not fall into soft sludge.
As in the picker, recently and for the feeder, various snap-ins are more often used. This is a Steve Gardner snap and loop snap. They are more suitable for conditions of pond calm waters, as well as in the weak course of lowland rivers. These snap-ins respond more sensitively to bite. To put it simply, they look like a leash with a hook tied above a sinker. Moreover, for less confusion at the place of attachment to the main fishing line, the leash is twisted in half, which creates the effect of a certain spring and moves the leash away from the main line. Next comes the usual leash from one monophilic vein. But on a strong jet, plastic anti-spinners working in a sliding mode are quite suitable. They prevent leashes from twisting around the main fishing line and allow the quivertype to accurately show the bite.
Leashes and hooks
The leash length depends on the fishing conditions and the appetite of the fish. Usually with sluggish biting, longer leashes are used, reaching 50 cm. In the most beakless leashes there are up to a meter long. Long leashes are also used for fishing, preferring slowly sinking bait and baits, in particular for large bream. During fast and active fishing, shortened leashes of no more than 20 cm are required.
The best hooks are recognized products of well-known companies Owner, Kamasan, Gamakatsu, Mustad. Hooks No. 8-12 are considered the most popular.
For successful fishing, the factor of “feeding” the catch point is important, speaking the language of feeder lovers. This is achieved by accurately hitting the feeder in the same place. To do this, some landmark like a bush or tree is marked on the shore with a look, and a marker is made on the fishing line to fix the casting length. Or a fishing line is inserted into a clip on a reel. However, sometimes at the point of jamming in the clip, the line or braid is frayed. It is better to grab the fishing line with a thin rubber band, and fix its ends in a clip.
Now there are a lot of different ready-made mixtures for fishing with a feeder. The bait is selected empirically for each individual reservoir. But you always need to add a small amount of the attachment that is used for fishing.
Bait and bait for fishing
Nozzles and bait are the most durable, which are better kept on the hook: maggot, caster, worms, corn, steamed or canned peas, cool semolina, pearl barley.
Feeder in Russian
Russian fisherman always comes up with something
And I had, somewhat compelledly, to make a semblance of a feeder from old spinning rods, when after moving to a new house I did not find many of my gear. Without further ado and without complexing, I fixed on the tops of the gatehouse from the side donoks. And then he specially made the gatehouse of the piano string, putting tulips from the spinning at their ends, wrapping it with glue and dyeing it with varnish.
