Fly fishing rod
Classic fishing. What is the difference between fly fishing rods. Fishing line. Floats. Hooks
The fly fishing rod is probably the most popular and widespread tackle among Russian fishermen. Probably, such a love for this tackle is generally associated with attachment to the float fishing rod of all segments of the population, from schoolchildren to gray-haired pensioners. And that is understandable. After all, this is a classic fishing. A fly fishing rod is not much different from the traditional Aksakov uda, consisting of a fishing rod, fishing line, float, sinker and hook. Only modern fishing rods are made of durable and lightweight carbon fiber, which is also used in the keel of flywheel floats.

Swing fishing rods are distinguished by the fact that they do not have access rings, as well as reel known for bamboo fishing rods. Do not put on the flywheel and the wire reel, as on conventional telescopic rods. True, some anglers do not like the equipment typed on a separate reel. It must be attached already at the place of fishing. According to an old habit, fishermen make a reel of wire clips and wind them on a butt of a fly fishing rod. In this embodiment, the rod is already assembled. Another difference between the flywheel rods is the presence of a rubber shock absorber missed in the knee of the rod and pulled out at the apex. The shock absorber tension is regulated by a sleeve on the thread, usually fastened in the second elbow from above. A simpler shock absorber is mounted on the top in the form of a thin rubber tube. The shock absorber helps to remove large fish on a thin flexible gear. The length of the rod for the Mach is usually 6-7 meters with a weight of the rod 300-400 grams.

The fly fishing line, if it is separately collected on the reel, is attached already on the shore of the reservoir in the form of a ready-made tool. For this, a special plastic connector is used, and sometimes a usual fastener is used.
Fly fishing line
In fly fishing, sport floats are used in the form of drops, spheres and elongated, which are called “needles”. These are floats for fishing in quiet water. Semicircular and round floats are more suitable for the flow. For fishing rods with a length of 5 m, floats of 0.5-1.0 g are used. For 6-7-meter rods, it is better to take floats with a carrying capacity of 1.5-2 grams.
Fly Fishing Floats
Usually small durable hooks, for example, Gamakatsu, are used for mach. Since the fly fishing rod is caught on plant baits, corn, maggot and semolina, hooks No. 10-20 of the international classification are more often used.
